Look forward to it in Spring 2023.

Mr. Aonuma of Zelda fame has released an update on the Breath of the Wild sequel originally slated for release this year. Unfortunately, it isn’t good news for fans looking to get their hands on it later this year, as the game has been delayed to Spring 2023.

You may recall a similar situation occurring with Animal Crossing: New Horizons, where the game was expected to launch in Late 2019, but was instead delayed to March 2020 instead to give the talent behind the game more time to work on the game without crunch time.

So while it’s disappointing, if you think about it, the wait is only a few extra months on top of what was already expected!
