McDonald’s to offer Pokémon themed Happy Meals starting August 16th, 2022

McDonald’s has announced that Pokémon themed Happy Meals are coming back starting tomorrow, August 16th, 2022. Happy Meals will contain a “Match Battle” game that includes a Pokémon Trading Card Game pack (4 cards), spinner, and a coin. ComicBook reports that the set “seems to focus on ‘Gen 7’ Pokemon, [as] nearly a third of the Pokecard in the [sic] set [comes] from Pokemon Sun and Moon.”

Cards include familiar Pokémon: Pikachu, Smeargle, Bewear, Rowlet, Victini, Drampa, and Cutiefly.

The Happy Meals were previously announced for England and Canada a while back, it was only a matter of time before they reached the States.
