Corrections Policy

We’re human and sometimes we make mistakes. So here’s our process for handling corrections for when things inevitably slip through the cracks — or even what we’ll do if we don’t think we can properly fix a story.

If we get something wrong, or even if we make a little typo, we’ll place a banner on the story (and a notice in the headline) that we updated it and why.

If it’s particularly egregious, or even it simply presents breaking errors that mean we need to pull the story, we’ll pull the story. We promise to be incredibly transparent about why a story was updated, or even removed if it comes to that.
