Nintendo today released their annual report for 2023, which reveals some interesting details about compensation for its directors. Most notably, this includes Nintendo’s CEO Shuntaro Furukawa and their Fellow Shigeru Miyamoto.
These salaries are listed for the Japanese arm of Nintendo, better known as Nintendo Co., Ltd. (NCL). If they’ve worked on a product, we’ve also included a couple of their recent or notable works.
- Shuntaro Furukawa [CEO]: $2.51 million USD (¥362 million yen)
- Shigeru Miyamoto [Fellow, Father of Mario/Zelda/Star Fox]: $2.02 million USD (¥292 million yen)
- Shinya Takahashi [General Producer, Splatoon 3/Pikmin 4]: $1.61 million USD (¥232 million yen)
- Satoru Shibata [General Manager of Marketing Division and Licensing Division]: $1.19 million USD (¥172 million yen)
- Ko Shiota [General Manager of Platform Technology Department, Nintendo Switch]: $910,000 USD (¥132 million yen)
