Digital Foundry finds Sonic Superstars is locked at 720p60, even when docked

Not quite superstar quality, but not a deal breaker, either!

The wonderful people over at Digital Foundry have done their usual technical analysis, this time on Sonic Superstars, and found something particular interesting to us: in order to reach a smooth 60 frames per second on the game, Sega have locked the game at a lower HD resolution of just 720p. Even when docked.

The video also compares the Switch version of the game against its siblings for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Truth be told, the game is much higher quality on other platforms than it is on Switch. However–it’s not deal breaking, especially for the convenience of taking the Switch version on the go.
