Nintendo Updates "Close to You" Short Video to Include Pikmin

UPDATED STORY 10/8: This morning, Nintendo published an updated version of the "Close to You" short movie published to their social channels yesterday, which has now been confirmed to be a new Pikmin short movie. ORIGINAL STORY 10/7: Nintendo uploaded a short video across their social media platforms in various regions today featuring a child playing with a pacifier while Zelda/Pikmin-esque piano music plays in the background.

We wish we had more to write about this particular video, but there really isn't much to say. We don't know if this was a tease for a game, future features, or anything of the sort. The video did not feature much else in the way of content, and did not feature any Nintendo products. In fact, the caption simply reads "Close to You" or some variation of those words wherever it was posted.

Our best guess based on the information we have? It is a video highlighting the family-friendly nature of Nintendo's brand that just might have missed the mark a bit. Of course, we're happy to be wrong! We'll wait and see what happens...
