Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen Available on Nintendo Switch on 27th February, 2026 (UPDATED)

The Pokémon Twitter account today announced that Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen will be available for purchase on the Nintendo eShop starting next Friday, 27th February, 2026, following the Pokémon Presents presentation. There is no specific Switch 2 Edition, but the game is compatible with Switch 2 and each language the game is supported in is sold as a separate product listing.
