PATCH NOTES: Animal Crossing: New Horizons v2.0.8

Yesterday, Nintendo released an update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, fixing a number of issues for the game--including a bug that occurred when playing the game on Nintendo Switch 2 systems. This update is available for both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 systems.

Here are the release notes directly from them:

Fixed bugs on Nintendo Switch 2
- Fixed an issue where the game could not progress when attempting to change the door decoration variation while suggesting a resident's home exterior to Tom Nook at Resident Services.

Other Fixes
- Fixed an issue where newly crafted fencing would not be added to the player’s inventory if a remade version of the same fence was already in their pocket.
- Other adjustments and corrections were made to improve the gameplay experience.

You may already have this update if you have "Auto-Update Software" turned on in Settings. If not, you may need to manually check for updates (press the + or - buttons on the software, then select "Software Update.")
